Make this 200 year-old Welsh country house yours. Oozing with Georgian grace, Glandŵr sits in 5 acres of woodland and gardens, just a stone’s throw from Tresaith’s glorious sandy beach and the national coastal path hugging Ceredigion’s stunning heritage coast, with frequent Dolphin sightings. Coupled with inland footpaths and cycle trails which can take you to undiscovered places, Glandŵr is an unrivalled location for your visit to west Wales.

Built at the height of the Georgian Regency period in 1809, Glandŵr is a Grade II listed country house, offering spacious five-star accommodation. With four double bedrooms, two twin bedrooms, stylish modern bathrooms, a stunning kitchen and three comfortable lounges plus games room, you’ll have plenty of space to unwind and relax in a splendid location far from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

As it will be spring we will be focusing on cleansing and awakening the energy systems through various forms of Hatha Yoga, meditation and breath work. We are right by the sea too so will have a huge amount of natural energy and vitality surrounding us as we work.

Plenty of walks, cliff tops, cycle routes – everything for a relaxing weekend.

Our lovely host Linda is also a trained chef who will be preparing our veggie and vegan delights over the weekend.

Prices start from £260 for a shared room (2 people) and a shared bathroom

£285 for a room to yourself and a shared bathroom

£300 for a room to yourself and  en-suite (please note if you would like to bring a partner even if they don’t want to take part in all the Yoga sessions we could work out a cost for the bigger en-suite rooms for 2 people – the area is great for walking and cycling and just gazing at the sea!!).

Linda has kept the prices low for us as this is the first year of booking with her – these are great prices for the luxury of the Yoga House and for the surrounding area.

Our Second Weekend:

Friday 5th August – Sunday 7th August 2016 – FULLY BOOKED!!!

Summer Yoga Weekend at Holycombe, House of Healing, Whichford, Shipston on Stour, Warwickshire. CV36 5PH.

Holycombe is a beautiful residential holistic retreat centre, set in a verdant wooded valley on the edge of the Cotswold village of Whichford. A natural stream rises from a holy well in the nearby wood, passes though the grounds and down a waterfall. The sound of running water adds to the sense of peace and tranquillity. A coppice provides shady outdoor space; theres a campfire area and a large stone circle on the castle site. Across a meadow is the ancient Whichford wood with many rare species of trees and plants, an abundance of wood anemones, primroses and bluebells in spring; chestnuts, blackberries and sloes in autumn. Wildlife abounds: everything from deers to polecats and kingfishers.

Set in six acres, Holycombe is built in the grounds of a Norman Castle, and  has a water-filled moat, habitat for carp and dragonflies. Sally and Andy Birtwell rescued the site from 40 years of being a scrap yard, dedicating 6 years of their life to the restoration. They have built a beautiful house and garden to honour the sacred landscape. Archaeologists have excavated a Roman conduit carrying water from the springs in the wood to the site and dowsers and geomancers have suggested it was a sacred site before Roman the occupation. They also believe that six leylines converge on the stone circle.

Our days will include Yoga – physical practice and more restorative sessions, breath work, meditation and Yoga Nidra. We will be focusing on bringing more awareness and mindfulness to our Yoga practice and our everyday lives.

You will also have time to enjoy the grounds of Holycombe, wooded walks, relaxing with a few books and enjoy home cooked & healthy Veggie/Vegan meals.

Prices start from:

                       £230 for a shared room (2 people)

£265 for a room to yourself.

Holycombe have kindly kept the prices the same this year for us as we have re-booked.
