These three are your greatest treasures”

New to yoga? Been away longer than you meant to? Perfect — this course was made for you. Over four welcoming weeks, we’ll ease back into moving, breathing and feeling like ourselves again. Expect gentle postures, a few giggles, easeful progress and that glorious ahh feeling when you finally relax on the mat.
As we go, you’ll begin to regain strength, improve mobility, release tension, and feel calmer in both body and mind — all without needing to twist into anything resembling a pretzel. Each session ends with relaxation, because frankly, we all deserve a lie-down.
You don’t need to be bendy, brave, or even know what “downward dog” is — just arrive, breathe, and let yoga do the rest.
Perfect for: complete beginners, returning yogis, and anyone who’d quite like to feel stronger, calmer and more comfortable being human again.
We’ll meet each Thursday for 4 weeks from 8th Jan – 29th Jan at 6.30pm for an hour long session of movement, breathing and relaxation. It will be a down-to-earth introduction (or re-introduction) to the magical practices of Hatha Yoga. Classes will be live via zoom from my spare room to yours, and you will get to keep the recordings of the sessions so that you can give it all a go again in your own time.
No fancy leggings, no expensive mats, no gimmicks. Just you connecting, gently to your Self again.
Join myself and Julie Mclean for a special gathering on Winter solstice as we welcome the opportunity to rest and restore.

Come and join me in October as we flow through Autumn with Steadiness and ease.
Sunday 12th October 10am - 12 Midday. Coleshill community centre
This seasonal Yoga workshop will look at the Raja Yoga concept of sthiram sukham - steadiness and ease. Autumn is governed by vata dosha in Ayurveda - the qualities of lightness, dryness, cold and subtle arise easily in this season. Vata dosha governs movement, so to balance these naturally arising qualities we need to introduce a certain amount of steadiness and ease into our life to calm and relax the body, mind and nervous system.
We will explore Yoga asana (postures) linked together with the breath to create fluid movement that encourages stability and strength, build a gentle warmth with our pranayama breathing techniques and focus the mind with meditation. Our session will include a led Yoga Nidra (Yogic sleep). Ayurvedic lifestyle tips will be weaved into this extended practice too.
Join me on Sunday 21st September as we welcome Autumn Equinox with a seasonal Qigong workshop.
10am - 12 midday
£20
As we move from late summer into autumn we change not only seasons but also the Chinese phases from earth to metal. In this workshop we will explore qigong forms to harmonise these changes within nature and us! Metal has the qualities of inspiration, strength and transformation. It encourages us to see the preciousness of life and those around us. Our Qigong community is certainly precious.
We will also explore Daoist meditation and the qigong healing sounds during our 2 hour session.
All welcome - practices can be adapted to work from a chair if needed too.
Time for a cuppa and connection afterwards too.

Are you feeling run-down, tired, a little stuck in life?
We all have moments where our energy is depleted, our mind is overly busy or our spark has dimmed a little. It’s often a sign that we aren’t caring for our Self enough.
In this hectic, over-stimulated world it can be hard to create the time and space to honour our own health and wellbeing. But, our own health and wellbeing should be a non-negotiable in our daily life - how can we care for our loved ones, give the best in our jobs and be present in our community if we are running on empty?
Self care isn’t just a new age buzz phrase. Treatments and practices, such as massage, Yoga & Qigong, for many people in the world are daily rituals that keep them mobile, energised, calm and attentive to the world around them. When we care for our Self we have the capacity to be present for others, our energy is boosted, we are less reactive and more compassionate. We get our spark back.
Sound good?
